Why am I not sleeping?

I am tired. really tired. babies are waking up several times a night with hurting teeth. But I'm not asleep. why? because I am trying to have recapture some semblance of a normal life. Normal people don't go to bed at 10pm. But then normal people don't have teething twins.

You gave up any chance at being able to consider yourself normal when you decided to gestate and give birth to twins. I suggest occasional bedtimes of 10:00 PM (if only I could practice what I preach), and staying up sometimes to pretend your normal. Of course, I fell asleep tonight reading my daughter But Not the Hippopotamus, which I currently can't spell, so what do I know?

Thank goodness for DVR (and the writer strike)! That way I can retire to bed, and not feel like I'm missing my old tv watching life. I sometimes crash at 9:30, and I only have one baby. I tried to go to bed at 11 last night, only to be up with screaming baby at 12 and 2...Kat
